Things I already know (Mostly in order by timeline):
- Many of Europe’s modern day borders can be attributed to World War II.
- Germany and Austria were divided up by occupation zones by the United Kingdom, France, theUnited States, and the Soviet Union.
- All Nazi propaganda and symbols were banned from Germany by the Allies.
- After Germany’s occupation ended, the zones from the United Kingdom, France, and the United States combined into West Germany, and the Soviet occupation zone turned into East Germany.
- World War II ending is arguably the beginning of the Cold War.
