Epstein's jail and suicide

Arrest

Jeffery Epstein was arrested for sex trafficking on July 6, 2019 and later jailed for his ^{(AP News, Sisak, Mustian)}. He then died in his jail cell on August 10, 2019 at 6:39 a.m.^{(PBS News Mustian, Sisak, Balsamo, AP News)}

Theory

Jeffery Epstein was either pressured to kill himself or was murdered by someone else to cover up truths about high level people.^{source needed}

Medical Evidence

Many medical experts, including Sanjay Gupta, a neurosurgeon and medical reporter,^NAM at CNN,^CNN Barbara Sampson, New York City’s former Chief Medical Examiner and works in forensic pathology, the performance of autopsies to determine what caused a person’s death,^{Mount Sinai} and Gerald Rodts, chief of spinal surgery at the Emory Clinic in Atlanta,^Emory along with the Department of Justice, all concluding the cause of death by suicide.¹¹ ¹² ¹³ ¹⁴ ¹⁵

Although unlikely, it is possible for people to fracture the hyoid bone and thyroid cartilage (Adam’s Apple) through hanging, and it being more common in older people. “Fractures of the hyoid bone and thyroid cartilage in 25% of Thais who died of suicidal hanging were related with older ages and incomplete hanging but not related with location of the knot.”¹⁶ It’s important to note, however, that broken bones like this are more common in strangulation regardless of age, but that suicide is more likely for older people.

FBI Investigation

BOP (Federal Bureau of Prisons) was not aware of the system failure until August 8th, 2019, “when the Special Investigative Services (SIS) Lieutenant and Associate Warden 1 attempted to review recorded surveillance video for a matter unrelated to Epstein.” Electricians were also not told specifically to ensure that cameras were in working condition, so there were no daily checks on ensuring camera operability.³

Electronic technicians arrived at the jail at 6 a.m. on August 10, 2019 but stopped repairs momentarily when the staff body alarm sound went off. These technicians later determined that most of the security cameras designated to record the SHU (Special Housing Units) were wired to the DVR (Digital Video Recorder) 2 system. The FBI later confirmed that the DVR 2 system failure occurred on July 29, 2019.⁴

The FBI on August 10, 2019 seized all hard drives containing the DVR 2 system.⁵

Only cameras on the DVR 1 system were working properly and none of them had a direct view of Epstein’s cell, but they did however cover areas that allowed the only opportunity for going to his cell, so if someone were to try to go towards Epstein’s cell, it would have been picked up on camera in DVR 1.⁶

Conclusion

Jeffery Epstein’s death at first glace may look like a murderous or pressured to suicide conspiracy with all the unlikely scenarios and circumstances leading up to his death being suspicious, but that’s all they are, unlikely and suspicious. Despite it more likely to die from strangulation with the damages to the neck, even at an older age, it does not rule out suicide. Upon looking deeper, all these situations can simply be caused by gross negligence and simple hardware malfunction, with the only other way it could be a homicide is if there was a an even greater conspiracy to make up for the new evidence, which would be unreasonable.
