- Local, State, and Federal distinctions.
- How a bill is passed, both for the state they’re in and for the federal government.
- How to vote for local, state, and federal positions.
- Knowing your rights when up against the police and government/courts.
- Understanding police procedure and court proceedings.
- Understanding the constitution and how it applies to the modern age.
- Reading the Federalist Papers.
- Various political ideologies and the two predominant political parties, and common beliefs among them.
- Knowing their current local representatives and government officials and how to contact local and state officials.
