Overtime now applies in the following situations:
- When working more than 28 hours in a week.
- Working over the hours set by the employer on a given day.
- Working over 7 hours in a given day.
Overtime should pay at least 1.5x of any given wage set by an employer. If the employee works on a federal holiday, then they should be paid 2x their wage.
